As well as playing for the side John and Ian both coach specific aspects of the game. Both John and Ian have played club cricket when they were fully sighted and Ian in fact played to a high level before his sight deteriorated.
Mike Clifton played a crucial part in setting up the club by coaching the original squad of players. Mike now runs Thursday morning practices for players who just want to play socially and not play in competitive cricket, although these practices are also attended by a few members of the first team squad such as Alwyn Drage and Tony White.
Anne Bentley and John Wood have also gained NationalCoaching certificates in the last two years to help them coach the side to future success!
