Profile: David is an experienced player playing in his 10th season of blind cricket. A former captain of Worcester, David is an experienced top order batsman and regularly bowls more than his fair share of overs as the sides only b1 bowler. After very poor seasons in 2003 and 2004, David himself doubted his batting abilities until playing excellently in the first three games of the 2005 season batting for around 45 overs scoring a total of 50 runs. David has always been a moderately successful bowler and is bowling faster than ever before at the start of this season. David enjoys captaining the side and has a surprisingly good record at winning the toss, including in all of the sides first four ever matches.
In 2006, David was able to share in some very useful opening partnerships, especially against Worcester, where he and Shah Miah smashed the club record for an opening partnership.
