Profile: Dave has been playing for Worcestershire during the 2005 season so has not been available to play for Northants in the league or the cup. However Dave is joining Northants for both the league and the cup next season. He has captained Worcestershire during 2005 and has had to take a lot of bowling responsibility in a weak Worcestershire side. He is a very accurate bowler who causes batsmen plenty of problems. Dave is also an excellent fielder holding 3 catches in the 2 games he played this season against Northants. Dave is also a developing batsman, he had a poor run of form mid-season with a run of ducks but found his form again at the end of the season.
In 2006, Dave was a revelation with the ball, having one of the best economy rates and averages of all the VIXINS bowlers. His batting average has suffered slightly from being brought in so low down the order, although glimpses of his quality in his innings to win the game against Vipers show that on his day he is still a formindable batsman.
